Ruminaja Ali was bred by Russell and Mildred Jameson, and purchased by the Bergren Family as a young colt. He was owned by the Bergrens for the remainder of his life. After an extremely successful show career, Ruminaja Ali went on to sire a new generation of champions and champion producers, including the 1985 unanimous US National Champion futurity colt Ali Jamaal. With Ali Jamaal's win, "the Bergren Brothers Farm became the first in history to have owned a US National Champion Futurity Colt who in turn sired the US National Champion Futurity Colt." Ruminaja Ali also sired US National Top Ten Straight Egyptian Stallion The Minstril, who in turn sired US Reserve National Champion Stallion Thee Desperado. Additionally, Ruminaja Ali sired the US Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion Anaza El Farid. Ruminaja Ali's daughters have gone on to become invaluable broodmares, producing such greats as the 2003 Salon du Cheval World Champion Stallion Al Adeed Al Shaqab.
